Basketball Game Preview: Highlands Owls vs. Seguin Matadors

The Highlands Owls will square off against the Seguin Matadors at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Friday, Highlands lost to Jefferson at home by a 61-43 margin. The Owls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Seguin, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They snuck past Edison with a 45-39 win on Friday.

Seguin pushed their record up to 16-14 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.4 points per game. As for Highlands, their loss dropped their record down to 18-13.

Highlands might still be hurting after the 60-38 defeat they got from Seguin in their previous meeting back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Seguin's Corey Dailey, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds.
