Soccer Recap: Legacy vs. Fort Collins
Legacy and Fort Collins squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Legacy had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Fort Collins Lambkins by a score of 1-0. The Lightning were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lambkins apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Legacy's loss dropped their record down to 9-5-2. As for Fort Collins, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4-3.
Legacy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fort Collins, they will head out to square off against Columbine at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fort Collins' last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
