Hun wins going away against Varsity Opponent

Recap: Hun Raiders vs. Varsity Opponent

After losing to Varsity Opponent the last time they met, the Hun Raiders decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Hun strolled past Varsity Opponent with points to spare on Sunday, taking the game 63-47. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Hun.

Hun's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabby D'Agostino, who scored 25 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which D'Agostino has scored at least 25% of Hun's points. CeeJay Thomas was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 18 rebounds.

Hun has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season. As for Varsity Opponent, their loss dropped their record down to 44-169-3.

Hun's road trip will continue as they head out to face Lansdale Catholic at 11:30 a.m. on December 16th. As for Varsity Opponent, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Neighborhood Academy on Monday. Neighborhood Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 21 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
