Volleyball Recap: St. Cecilia's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

St. Cecilia entered their tilt with Aquinas on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Monarchs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

St. Cecilia found their leader in sophomore Aspen Anderson, who had 11 digs and two aces. Nyla Mangers also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

St. Cecilia's win bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Aquinas, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-23.

St. Cecilia wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Bishop Neumann on the 11th. As for Aquinas, they will host Shelby-Rising City on Thursday.
