Volleyball Recap: Lockwood's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Lockwood had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against Gloria Deo Academy by a score of 2-0.

Lockwood's offense was headlined by Reese Whitesell and Asa Lasater, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Gracyn Clawson and her eight assists. Whitesell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Lockwood's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Gloria Deo Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3-1.

Lockwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Jefferson Independent Day on the 6th. As for Gloria Deo Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Southwest on the 6th.
