Baseball Recap: Tremont Comes Up Short

Tremont fell victim to Carbon Hill and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 11-0. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Tremont's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Carbon Hill, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-11 record.

Coming up, Tremont will head out to challenge Mantachie at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.26 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Carbon Hill, they will welcome Gordo at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
