Soccer Recap: Kearns vs. Spanish Fork
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Kearns had no problem doing just that on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Spanish Fork Dons a 2-0 shutout. Two seems to be a good number for Kearns as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Alejandro Barragan scored both of Kearns' goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.
Kearns' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-8. As for Spanish Fork, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.
Kearns will face off against Wasatch at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wasatch will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something Kearns surely won't give up without a fight. Spanish Fork does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
