Basketball Recap: Sand Creek Comes Up Short

Sand Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 61-42 bruising from the East Jackson Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Aggies of the 84-75 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2020.

Sand Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for East Jackson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sand Creek will face off against Whiteford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Jackson, they will challenge Jonesville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
