Volleyball Recap: Kalaheo Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Moanalua

Kalaheo faced Moanalua in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Mustangs lost 3-0 to the Menehune. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Menehune from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Kalaheo's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Moanalua, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Kalaheo is set to challenge their familiar foe Kalani at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Moanalua will face off against rival Farrington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
