Basketball Recap: Kingman Academy's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

After a string of four wins, Kingman Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Seton Catholic Sentinels by a score of 70-67.

When it comes to explaining why Kingman Academy lost, don't look at Josh White. Despite the final result, he posted 35 points. The match was White's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Fager, who earned 14 points.

Seton Catholic can attribute much of their success to Kj Fauske, who put up 23 points along with six assists and five boards. Those five boards gave Fauske a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Asthon Ries, who had ten points and eight rebounds.

Kingman Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Seton Catholic, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Kingman Academy will head out on the road to face off against Highland Prep West at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Seton Catholic, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 50-47 win against Show Low on the 3rd.
