Soccer Game Preview: Westinghouse vs. Solorio

The Westinghouse Warriors will be taking part in a tournament against the Solorio Sun Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Monday, Westinghouse didn't have quite enough to beat Taft and fell 2-1. Westinghouse haven't had much luck with Taft recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Westinghouse's goal came courtesy of Jasmin Geronimo, who's now up to 35 this season.

Meanwhile, it's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Solorio can now relate to. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings on Tuesday. Solorio's defeat signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Westinghouse's loss dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Solorio, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-3.
