Softball Recap: Belleville Comes Up Short

Belleville fell victim to Dodgeville and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Dodgers, falling 18-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 14-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Belleville has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for Dodgeville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Belleville will venture away from home to challenge Columbus at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Dodgeville, they will square off against Prairie du Chien at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
