Baseball Recap: Badger Takes a Loss

Badger lost against Pymatuning Valley back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Braves came up short against the Lakers, falling 10-3. The loss leaves the Braves still looking for their first win of the season.

Badger saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lewis Flowers, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-4. Deegan Hunkus also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Badger's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Pymatuning Valley, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Badger will welcome East at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Badger is facing East at the right time seeing as East is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Pymatuning Valley, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-3 win against Windham on the 11th.
