The Parkview Christian Patriots will face off against the Meridian Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Parkview Christian is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Pawnee City on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Patriots had to suffer through a 40-13 loss at the hands of the Indians. The Patriots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-6.

Although Parkview Christian took the loss, they still got scores from William Gauksson and Harlem Mcginnis.

Meanwhile, Meridian suffered their biggest loss since September 6, 2024 on Friday. They took a blow against Red Cloud, falling 46-16. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost five in a row.

Parkview Christian will have to keep a close watch on Jayton Jones and Landon Peterson, a pair of players who had a big impact on Meridian's prior game. Jones threw for 99 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six passes, while Peterson picked up 64 receiving yards and one TD.

Meridian's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Parkview Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
