Baseball Recap: Biloxi Comes Up Short

Biloxi was the 6-3 winner over St. Martin when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians fell just short of the Yellow Jackets by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Biloxi saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leyton Gunter, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Another was Adam Rugg, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one RBI.

Biloxi's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for St. Martin, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-11 record.

While Biloxi had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
