Baseball Recap: Silver Comes Up Short

Silver was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 11-4 to the Cobre Indians. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Indians this season, with their most recent defeat being a 5-4 loss last Friday.

Silver's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Cobre, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

Silver and Cobre will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Fighting Colts will challenge rival Santa Teresa at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cobre is set to take on their familiar foe Hot Springs at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
