Chico and Enterprise are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2019, but not for long. The Chico Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Enterprise Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Chico is headed into the match having just suffered their closest loss since January 16, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Shasta by a score of 67-64. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Enterprise came up short against Foothill on Tuesday and fell 62-49. While the Hornets didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cougars 19-11 in the first quarter.

Enterprise has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 13-11 record this season. As for Chico, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-12.

Chico came out on top in a nail-biter against Enterprise in their previous meeting back in January, sneaking past 67-64. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chico since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
