The Crest Chargers will take on the Randolph Cardinals at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Crest is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season.
Last Tuesday, Crest beat McDowell 5-2. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Aidan Ledbetter spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on eight hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Hayden Lail was incredible, firing off two home runs while going 2-for-3. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Zoi Richardson also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Randolph, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They never let Brocton get on the board and left with a 9-0 win on Wednesday. The Cardinals' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Aliza Hind made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 12 over six innings pitched. Hind was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Grace Arnold-Hill, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Aryana Sears, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3.
Randolph hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brocton struck out 14 times.
Crest's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Randolph, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Randolph's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Crest has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .456. It's a different story for Randolph, though, as they've only averaged .303.
