Soccer Game Preview: Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate vs. Universal Academy

Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate is 8-0-1 against Universal Academy since November of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Phoenix will square off against the Falcons at 4:00 p.m.

Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Winthrop College Prep Academy on Thursday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.

Meila'Ani Douse and Sara Shahwan scored both of Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Universal Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Sports Leadership & Management on Thursday. Universal Academy haven't had any issues with Sports Leadership & Management recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

With that draw, Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate's record moves to 3-3-1. As for Universal Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate took their win against Universal Academy in their previous meeting back in November by a conclusive 4-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Phoenix since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
