Marionville lost against Lockwood back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Comets fell 2-0 to the Tigers. The Comets' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Annaliyah Ghan paced Marionville's offense, picking up four kills. Ghan really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with six. She also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Piper Medlin, each putting up three.

Marionville's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12-3. As for Lockwood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-9-2.

Marionville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Miller on the 14th. As for Lockwood, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Houston on the 11th.
