Soccer Recap: Tate Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Tate entered their match against Booker T. Washington on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Tate Aggies lost 3-0 to the Booker T. Washington Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Aggies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 147th, while the Wildcats are ranked first).

Tate's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5. As for Booker T. Washington, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-0-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tate will head out to face off against Escambia at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Booker T. Washington, they are taking a road trip to take on Gulf Breeze at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Gulf Breeze's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
