Basketball Recap: Teays Valley Takes a Loss

Teays Valley was the 55-54 winner over Canal Winchester when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Teays Valley Vikings took a 59-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Canal Winchester Indians on Tuesday. The Vikings just can't catch a break and have now endured ten defeats in a row.

Teays Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Canal Winchester, they moved to 7-11 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Teays Valley will square off against Newark at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Newark will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Teays Valley surely won't give up without a fight. As for Canal Winchester, they will face off against Logan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Canal Winchester is facing Logan at the right time seeing as Logan is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
