Preview: Grainger Grizzlies vs. Carter Green Hornets
After five games on the road, Grainger is heading back home. They will take on the Carter Green Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Tuesday, Grainger didn't have too much trouble with Claiborne on the road as they won 56-39. The win was just what Grainger needed coming off of a 73-48 defeat in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Carter scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Seymour at home to the tune of 86-51. That looming 86-51 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Carter yet this season.
Grainger's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-9. As for Carter, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season.
Grainger came up short against Carter in their previous meeting back in November of 2018, falling 66-58. Can Grainger avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
