Natchitoches Central entered their tilt with Westlake on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Rams. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Chiefs have posted since September 19th.

Natchitoches Central had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 27-25, 17-15.

Natchitoches Central's victory bumped their record up to 29-3. As for Westlake, with the loss, they broke their seven-match winning streak and moved their record to 15-8.

Coincidentally, Natchitoches Central and Westlake will both be playing Loyola College Prep the next time they take the court. The Chiefs will host the Flyers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Rams will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
