Travelers Rest is 8-2 against Berea since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Travelers Rest Devildogs will head out to take on the Berea Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Travelers Rest is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Travelers Rest was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 70-66 to Blue Ridge. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (58), the Devildogs still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Berea lost to Seneca at home by a 60-43 margin on Tuesday. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Travelers Rest's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Berea, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Travelers Rest came up short against Berea in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 60-51. Can Travelers Rest avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
