Paulsboro's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Gateway Regional Gators by a score of 13-9. The high-scoring effort was just what the Red Raiders needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Paulsboro has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Gateway Regional, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paulsboro will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Haddonfield at 4:00 p.m. on the 20th. As for Gateway Regional, they will square off against Collingswood at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Gators' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
