Basketball Recap: Holton Comes Up Short

Holton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 56-26 defeat at the hands of the Hesperia Panthers. The Red Devils were probably out for revenge after losing 71-52 to them when the teams met back in February, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Holton's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Hesperia, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holton will venture away from home to take on Mason County Eastern at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hesperia, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Hesperia Panthers take on the Shelby Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hesperia has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
