Baseball Recap: Bedford Comes Up Short

Bedford lost to Somerset back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bisons fell just short of the Golden Eagles by a score of 3-2.

Bedford saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blake Cragan, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Bedford has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Somerset, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5.

Looking ahead, Bedford will welcome Southern Fulton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed 1.8 runs per game this season, so the Bisons' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Somerset does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
