Football Recap: Braymer Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Braymer had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were dealt a 69-12 defeat at the hands of the Concordia Fighting Orioles on Friday. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Fighting Orioles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Carson Droege had a dynamite game For Concordia., rushing for 105 yards and two TDs on only six carries. That's the most rushing touchdowns Droege has posted since back in September of 2024. Aiden Frerking was in the mix as well, providing Concordia with two scores.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Braymer will take on rival Southwest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Concordia is set to face off against their familiar foe Slater at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Fighting Orioles their first taste of in-conference action this season.
