Basketball Recap: Western Dubuque Falls Short of Marion in the Playoffs

Western Dubuque and Marion squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Western Dubuque had to settle for second. They lost to the Marion Wolves on the road by a 57-38 margin. The Bobcats' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Western Dubuque's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Marion, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.
