Basketball Game Preview: Peebles Indians vs. Hillsboro Indians

The Peebles Indians will take on the Hillsboro Indians in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.

Peebles lost 56-34 to North Adams on Thursday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Hillsboro had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 55-37 win over the Panthers.

Hillsboro's win came from a few key players Peebles will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Tylee Davis, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 boards. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last eight games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kobie Miles, who posted 12 points.

Hillsboro's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Peebles, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Peebles didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Hillsboro in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 56-50 win. Will Peebles repeat their success, or does Hillsboro have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
