Jupiter snaps five-game streak of wins at home

Recap: Jupiter Warriors vs. Central Cobras
The Jupiter Warriors and the Central Cobras squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but sadly the Jupiter Warriors had to settle for second. They took a 51-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cobras. Jupiter's defeat signaled the end of their 18-game winning streak.
Joseph Gayle continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Central, scoring 19 points along with two steals. Gayle hasn't dropped below 16 points for 14 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kerry Parks, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Jupiter's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 23-3. As for Central, they pushed their record up to 18-10 with that win, which was their seventh straight on the road.
Jupiter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Central is on the road again on Thursday and plays Olympia at 7:00 p.m. on February 15th. Hopefully Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Saturday.
