Basketball Game Preview: Keswick Christian Crusaders vs. Babcock Trailblazers

Two dominant guards in Robyn Cantwell and Marianeliz Murillo are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Keswick Christian Crusaders will square off against the Babcock Trailblazers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Keswick Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They blew past Canterbury 65-23. Winning may never get old, but Keswick Christian sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Keswick Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cantwell led the charge by putting up ten points along with six assists and four steals. Cantwell is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Hannah Jantomaso was another key player, going 5-for-7 on her way to 11 points and six boards.

Keswick Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in nine consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Babcock came out on top against Gulf Coast HEAT on Thursday by a score of 59-28 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).

Babcock is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. As for Keswick Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 19-8.
