Bishop Conaty-Loretto is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 26-6 margin over Serra last Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Cavaliers: they've now won three in a row.

Kaylee Parra and Giselle Garcia were major factors no matter where they played. Throwing, Parra pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Garcia pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Parra has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in nine consecutive appearances. At bat, Parra went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Garcia went 4-for-5 with four RBI and two runs. Those four hits gave Garcia a new career-high.
In other batting news, Bishop Conaty-Loretto got a massive performance out of Heather Salvador, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave Salvador a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kaylah Araujo, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Bishop Conaty-Loretto always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .791. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus took on Los Angeles Leadership Academy last Tuesday. The Tigers fell just short of the Lions by a score of 7-5. The Tigers have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.
Bishop Conaty-Loretto now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
Everything went Bishop Conaty-Loretto's way against Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus in their previous matchup back in April of 2023, as Bishop Conaty-Loretto made off with a 27-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
