Football Game Preview: Mitchell Bluejackets vs. Perry Central Commodores

The Mitchell Bluejackets will head out to face off against the Perry Central Commodores at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mitchell is looking for their season's first win.

On Friday, Mitchell took a blow against Paoli, falling 57-6.

Meanwhile, Perry Central played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 53-6 loss at the hands of Springs Valley. While losing is never fun, the Commodores can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings (they are ranked 301st, while the Blackhawks are ranked 125th).

Mitchell's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Perry Central, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 0-8.

Mitchell was taken down by Perry Central 42-14 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Bluejackets were down 22-0.
