Basketball Recap: Blue Valley Southwest Takes a Loss

Blue Valley Southwest has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost 65-43 to the Saint Thomas Aquinas Saints on Wednesday. The Timberwolves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-11.

Despite the loss, Blue Valley Southwest still got an impressive performance from Lily Unruh, who went 5-for-9 en route to 12 points. Unruh is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Blue Valley Southwest's record is now 11-6. As for Saint Thomas Aquinas, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.
