Volleyball Recap: Landmark Christian Wins Going Away Against Atlanta International

Landmark Christian not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 9th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Atlanta International Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory. The War Eagles have beaten the Eagles the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Eagles has come to flipping the script.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-16, 25-13.

Lucy O'Rourke paced Landmark Christian's offense, picking up ten kills. O'Rourke also shared the team's lead in assists with Kaitlyn Brezina: they picked up 16 each. Ryan Lawrence controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Landmark Christian's win bumped their record up to 15-16. As for Atlanta International, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Landmark Christian will head out on the road to square off against Elite Scholars Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Atlanta International does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
