Basketball Recap: Western Wayne Comes Up Short

Western Wayne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were dealt an 87-41 defeat at the hands of the Old Forge Blue Devils. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 636th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 110th).

Western Wayne's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Old Forge, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4.

Western Wayne will welcome Lakeland at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Old Forge, they will head out to take on Riverside at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
