 In what's become a running theme this season, Lincoln County gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Warren County Pioneers & Lady Pioneers with a sharp  10-2 win. The high-scoring effort was just what Lincoln County needed considering they were shutout in their previous   match.
  Mia Brown was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She  tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits. Brown has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in nine consecutive pitching appearances. Brown was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and a  double.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Hallie Meeks, who  went 2-for-3 with four  RBI and two  runs.  Abby Flynt was another key contributor,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with a  double and  an  RBI.
 The  victory  made it two in a row for Lincoln County and  bumps their season record up to 18-8. As for Warren County, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost six of their last seven contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record  this season.
 Lincoln County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  22-0  win vs. Shelbyville Central on the 17th. As for Warren County, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Coffee County Central at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. One thing working in Coffee County Central's favor is that they have posted big  run totals  in their last four matchups.
