Baseball Game Preview: Lake Forest Academy Caxys vs. Francis W. Parker Colonels

For the second straight game, Lake Forest Academy will face off against Francis W. Parker. The Caxys are taking a road trip to square off against the Colonels at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Lake Forest Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over Francis W. Parker. The Caxys haven't had any issues with the Colonels recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Parker Pollak was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Tucker, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Lake Forest Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. They are 2-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Lake Forest Academy's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 3-10. As for Francis W. Parker, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-7.
