Basketball Recap: Mesa Vista Now 9-1 over Last Ten Games

After losing to Menaul the last time they met, Mesa Vista decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Mesa Vista Trojans walked away with a 57-46 win over the Menaul Panthers on Saturday.

Mesa Vista is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.4 points per game. As for Menaul, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-7.

Mesa Vista will welcome Los Alamos at 4:30 p.m. on January 18th. As for Menaul, they will head out to take on Belen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Belen knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Menaul likes a good challenge.
