Seaside extended their losing streak to five on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-5. They took a 60-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rancho San Juan Trailblazers. On the bright side, the 52- point performance marked the Spartans' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Rancho San Juan's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. The win continues a trend for them in their matchups with Seaside: they've now won four in a row.

Kingston Salviejo was a one-man wrecking crew as he went 8-for-19 en route to 26 points and four steals. His big performance that evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Noah Casarez, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds.

Seaside will take on Stevenson in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rancho San Juan, they and Marina will face off at 8:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played.
