Volleyball Recap: Immaculate Conception Comes Up Short

Immaculate Conception was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Washington Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-27, 25-19, 25-10.

Immaculate Conception's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Washington, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Immaculate Conception and Washington will both be playing Summit Shasta the next time they take the court. The Spartans will host the Black Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
