Softball Recap: Troy Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Troy can now relate to. They fell just short of the Manhattan Tigers by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Trojans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Troy's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Manhattan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-5.

Troy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Manhattan, they have already played their next match, a 9-1 defeat against Shepherd on the 23rd.
