Holtville entered their tilt with Brawley on Tuesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Wildcats. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-2 win two weeks ago.

Holtville was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (101-93), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 15-25, 25-20, 13-25, 25-19, 15-12.

Holtville pushed their record up to 8-9 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Brawley, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-21.

Coincidentally, Holtville and Brawley will both be playing West Shores the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will head out to face the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Vikings will host them at 5:30 p.m. on the 29th.
