Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carter). They took down the Morristown-Hamblen East Hurricanes 67-49 on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Green Hornets in their matchups with the Hurricanes: they've now won three in a row.

Morristown-Hamblen East's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chance Stokely, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Stokely has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last four times he's played. Jaxson Archer was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Carter's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Morristown-Hamblen East, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
