Basketball Recap: Northeast Bradford Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Northeast Bradford can now relate to. They took a 55-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Muncy Indians. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2019.

Muncy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Stiles Eyer, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 11 boards. That's the most points Eyer has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Dominic Guardini, who went 7-for-16 en route to 18 points.

Northeast Bradford's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Muncy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-5.

As of now, neither Northeast Bradford nor Muncy have any future games scheduled.
