Volleyball Recap: Williamstown Yellowjackets vs. Tyler Knights
Williamstown was the 3-2 winner over Tyler when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Yellowjackets fell just short of the Knights by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. While the Yellowjackets didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Knights 25-20 in the first set.
Williamstown wouldn't go down easily and took Tyler into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking seven-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-8, 25-22, 15-25, 15-8.
Williamstown's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10-3. As for Tyler, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Williamstown will take on Parkersburg at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tyler, they will face off against Weir at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
