Softball Recap: Horseshoe Bend Generals vs. Dadeville Tigers

Horseshoe Bend stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past the Dadeville Tigers 7-1. The victory was nothing new for Horseshoe Bend as they're now sitting on three straight.

Brynlee Alford made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. Alford has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive pitching appearances. Alford was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Reagan Taylor was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Jacey Johnson, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

On Dadeville's side, Rorie Mask was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she struck out seven batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits (and not a single walk).

On the hitting side, Dadeville saw one different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Caldwell, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
