Basketball Recap: Chevak Picks Up 11th Consecutive Win

Chevak came tearing into Friday's match with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.8 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Hooper Bay Warriors 61-45. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 66-37 victory back in January.

Chevak's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kali Hill, who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Shaneil Slats, who scored ten points.

Chevak's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points over those games. As for Hooper Bay, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.
